TO THE VOTERS OF GIBSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE: You are hereby notified that FEDERAL AND STATE PRIMARY elections and GIBSON COUNTY GENERAL elections will be held in all voting precincts in Gibson County, Tennessee on:
THURSDAY, AUGUST 1, 2024
Polling locations will be open 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
FEDERAL AND STATE PRIMARY elections will be held to nominate candidates for their respective parties for the following offices:
•United States Senator
•Representative for U.S. House of Representatives, 8th Congressional District
•Tennessee State Senator, District 24
•Representative for Tennessee House of Representatives, Districts 79 and 82
•Democratic State Executive Committeewoman and Committeeman, 24th District, unexpired two-year term
ELECTIONS WILL ALSO BE HELD FOR THE FOLLOWING SPECIAL SCHOOL DISTRICT OFFICES IN GIBSON COUNTY:
•Bradford Special School District, 2 positions
•Gibson County Special School District, Positions 1 and 5
•Kenton Special School District, city position and Gibson County position
•Trenton Special School District, city position and outside city position

A COUNTY GENERAL election will also be held for the following offices whose qualifying deadline has already passed.
The qualifying deadline for the following positions was noon, December 14, 2023 due to the local Democratic party calling for a local primary to be held with the March 5, 2024 Presidential Preference Primary:
