Notice is hereby given that the Gibson County Election Commission will meet in the Election Commission office for a regular meeting, located on the 1st floor of the Courthouse, on Tuesday, November 18 at 3:45pm. The following business in on the agenda:

November 19-26, 2025
(Closed November 27-29 for Thanksgiving)
December 1-4, 2025
Early voting times: Monday – Friday 11:00am-2:00pm, Saturdays 9:00am – 12:00 noon
ABSENTEE VOTING BY MAIL
If you wish to vote by mail, you must meet certain legal requirements pursuant to T.C.A 2-6-201. You must request a ballot in writing over your signature. The request can be made as much as 90 days in advance of an election and not later than 10 days prior to an election.
Requests for absentee ballots must be in writing and signed by the voter. The LAST day for the Election Commission to receive a REQUEST for an application to vote by mail is Saturday, November 29, 2025. The LAST day for the Election Commission to receive APPLICATIONS to vote absentee is Saturday, November 29, 2025. Requests can be e-mailed with an attached signature, hand delivered, or mailed to the Gibson County Election Commission, Courthouse, One Court Square, Suite 101, Trenton, TN 38382.
Applications for absentee ballots are available in our office and are on our website.
