To the Voters of Gibson County: Early Voting by personal appearance (no reason required)
Early voting will be held in the following locations:

Early Voting Dates and Times:
July 17 - August 1, 2026
Mon-Fri 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturdays 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m
ABSENTEE VOTING BY MAIL:
If you wish to vote by mail, you must meet certain legal requirements pursuant to T.C.A 2-6-201. You must request a ballot in writing over your signature. The request can be made as much as 90 days in advance of an election and not later than 10 days prior to an election. Absentee request forms are available at www.gibsonelections.com under the absentee voting tab. Absentee request forms can also be mailed to you from our office. Please call the number below to request a form or for more information. The LAST day for the Election Commission to receive a REQUEST for an application to vote by mail is Monday, July 27, 2026. The LAST day for the Election Commission to receive APPLICATIONS to vote absentee is Monday, July 27, 2026. Requests can be e-mailed with an attached signature, hand delivered, or mailed to the address below.

TO THE VOTERS OF GIBSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE: You are hereby notified that FEDERAL AND STATE GENERAL elections will be held in all voting precincts in Gibson County, Tennessee on:
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2026
Polling locations will be open 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
FEDERAL AND STATE elections will be held to ELECT candidates for the following offices:
· Governor
· Representative for U.S. House of Representatives, 8th Congressional District
· Representative for Tennessee House of Representatives, House District 79 AND 82
ELECTIONS WILL ALSO BE HELD FOR THE FOLLOWING MUNICIPAL AND SPECIAL SCHOOL DISTRICT OFFICES IN GIBSON COUNTY:
· City of Bradford, Mayor and 3 Aldermen
· City of Dyer, 4 Aldermen
· City of Kenton, Mayor, 6 Aldermen, and City Judge
· City of Medina, 2 Aldermen
· City of Milan, 4 Aldermen (One from each Ward 1-4)
· City of Trenton, Mayor, and 6 Aldermen
· Town of Gibson, Mayor and 2 Aldermen
· Milan SSD, two positions outside the city limits, and Ward 1 inside city limits

Notice is also given for voters with disabilities or elderly voters, whose polling place is inaccessible. They have the right to vote early or on Election Day at the Election Commission Office. To vote at the Election Commission office on Election Day, the voter shall complete an affidavit no less than ten (10) days prior to the first election in which they wish to vote. The deadline for filing the affidavit falls on July 27, 2026.
